I agree with everything you mentioned
Dentistry has a great income potential if you own your practice and are good at dentistry. It also can have a great work life balance with regular working hours.
Downsides are huge debt to income at the beginning of your career. Working with patients who are highly anxious can cause a lot of burnout and stress. If you aren’t skilled working with your hands and managing people’s anxiety, you are going to get crushed with the debt load and flame out.
