Instead, find something that has to be done that nobody wants to do, and get really good at it.
A gentleman in my ward had a janitorial service. Not much prestige there. He grew the business to the point where he had contracts on several theaters, department stores, restaurants, complete malls, etc. he not only cleaned the interiors, but also had street sweepers for the parking lots.
He made bank!
Of course, he had a lot of overhead and employees (not pillars of society for the most part) to deal with. He had a real business mind and everything he touched seemed to turn to gold.
