That’s a good formula for financial success. If he enjoyed running that business all the better. My point is if he
doesn’t like doing his job (as is the case for many) then what has he gained by going that route and is it worth it?

-If you enjoy and are passionate about what you do, I think your chances of financial success in it are high. (Except for industries where financial success is rare, in which case you also have to be extremely talented). Sounds like he may be here because he enjoys running a business.

-If you are financially stable and love your work, your life will be much better than…

-…if you are wealthy but don’t like your daily work.

-Worst of all is to be poor and hate your work.

I guess my main point is that I disagree with the “find something nobody wants to do” unless it’s something you want to do. If it’s not something you enjoy, your life will probably not be better overall just for having made a lot of money. (But that is a great mantra for finding businesses that can make you rich)
