That would represent an entirely different model for funding BYU Athletics
and I don't see it changing.
If BYU Athletics fell under the for-profit arm of the Church, then it would be required to do just that - make a profit. The shift to professionalization would dramatically increase costs. Where will the additional revenue come from? You and me. Are you ready to pay up, big time?
I agree that the $4M to the U Law School was a bit perplexing.
