VP context
If any objective person came and read football posts over the past month I would guess 2/3 are extremely negative. Not just disappointed or upset- but "fire the coach, the AD, become a Utah fan" type of negative. Just reading over the past month, I would have to question if the site is a 'fan site' as well.
That said the VP was smiling and his comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I took it as more of a positive that both the VP and Pres. were aware of what is said on this site. It is a bit like a politician getting a feel for his electorate. They will ignore those they perceive as crazies, but a tidal wave of well-reasoned comments/dissent may actually play into their decision making. Much better than them being totally oblivious to the site and it's comments.
