If the "for-profit" arm of the church took over, I'm pretty sure that the BYU Athletics subsidy of the Food Service business (which comes from Athletics not getting a dime of concessions receipts) would end real fast. And the for-profit people would probably be quick to pull the plug on a losing coach. There would be an immediate focus on the fan experience that might solve some of the parking problems. Loss-making mens sports would see the plug pulled. Coaches that win games and therefore bring in fans and revenues would get rewarded.
How's this all bad again?
