My daughter had a similar experience

She had a 3.95 and a 28 ACT and didn’t get admitted. A Hispanic girl from a single mother household with far lower grades and low ACT did get accepted. I was pretty ticked and so was my daughter.

My daughter ended up at Utah State and has absolutely loved it. She is still a BYU fan but has embraced life as an Aggie.
