Not a lottery

BYU has broad based enrollment objectives. It is not a lottery. Talk to BYU to see exactly what hey ARE looking for. It is much more than grades and test scores. Those 2 are not near the top of the BYU requirements. This does NOT make it a lottery. Neither of my kids were accepted into BYU. Both understood what BYU was looking for, because they visited with BYU recruiters. BYU does not hide what they are looking for in students. It is just very differnt from other universities. My kids not getting into BYU didn't make me angry or upset. Disappointed for my kids.
