If BYU wants to be more inclusive they should grow enrollment significantly
You don't exclude qualified applicants in order to include a broader spectrum of people. You grow the university to a point where you can do both. I suspect growing the undergrad enrollment to 40-45k wouldn't harm the academic reputation of the school too much, while allowing the administration to accomplish these same goals. I'll readily admit I don't know about the feasibility of doing this logistically though.
