BTW, the donor appeal was facetious. I disagree that the school has to be so
draconian with its rules. Every good organization has an ability to make reasonable exceptions for customers. The problem is BYU does not view students as customers.

Have him enroll at UVU and then if he feels the need after his mission he can transfer to the Y or he could get lucky
