My wife often comments on the working/non-working divide with women in the
church. You have to be careful what you say so you do not "offend" those that work. In addition, most of the women leaders in the church are very accomplished in one field or another, leaving stay at home moms in the minority and feeling looked down on even though they feel they made a conscious choice to follow the recommendation to stay home and raise kids.
It is a huge issue and only going to get worse, IMO.
