and a lack of commitment to national sovereignty by our elected and un-elected leaders in government. It also exists because of the incentives and rewards our government hands out to those who break the law and come to this land illegally. We are the only country in the developed world (besides Canada) that automatically grants citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants. We are the only country in the world that gives illegal immigrants welfare benefits on behalf of their children born in this country.

If we were to end the anchor baby rule, cut off welfare to the illegal immigrant parents of anchor babies, cut off medical care to illegals, and impose harsh penalties for businesses, ranchers and farmers who hire illegals, the problem would go away overnight.
