that's fair. I do wonder to what extent expectations play a role in that
disappointment. like, what did history majors expect to be doing when they graduated? what did they do to prepare themselves for a career? I'm guessing a lot of that disappoint is, again, not because of their majors as much as because they weren't realistic about what they were going to do with their degrees and didn't put in the extra effort to make those degrees valuable after school.
