For the Sitake fan club, I've noticed that most of you through the years have been vocal complainers that BYU should not be the place for training coordinators. We're too big of a program for that. Our coordinators need to have proven themselves elsewhere first. Okay, but if it's that important for the coordinator positions, why are you okay with BYU being a training ground for an HC? Sitake has only ever coached at one FBS school, and has never coached outside of his mentor's shadow at the FBS level. Why are you okay with that for the most important position?
I'm not sold on Nuimatulolo, either. Navy has never returned to the heights it enjoyed under Paul Johnson, who has been mediocre at GT.
Coach 2J is an interesting prospect. He's got HC experience, but very little FBS experience. I like his demeanor, but he'd certainly be a big risk. He could struggle to fill out a coaching staff having had very little time to develop contacts at the FBS level.
