No they absolutely could be an improvement over what Bronco has done. The
I don't know what else to say. You don't understand the basic fundamentals of football. Of you did you'd see they're not showing up on the field at BYU. That's due to coaching, the skill and the athletes are definitely there. When our athletes aren't superior like Hill we can't win games, it's proof positive of bad coaching.
Some of this is just so obvious and so bad. Like trying to play Riley Nelson at QB for years, when he has shown he doesnt have any passing ability. That decision is squarely on the coaches. Lately its been the defensive schemes. They're playing so far off the receivers the short passes go unchecked. It went on all game against USU and Nevada. It was very obvious that the coaching staffs at those schools figured out the weakness and there was no adjustment at all in both games.
I've had so many people come up to me in CA and ask me why BYU can't recruit a QB that passes well like in the Lavell era. That's what were still known for. I don't ever say this, but the answer is completely incompetent coaching. We don't have problems recruiting these guys. We have problems running a very basic offense because Bronco doesn't have the skill to do it himself and doesn't have the ability to figure out who to hire.
