I interviewed for a job a few years ago at BYU and had an interview with a GA
I was told, "if you lose you temple recommend you will be fired." The first thought that went through my head was, I thought we believed in repentance. These issues apply to more than football players it applies to all students and faculty.
There has to be room for repentance. I love the honor code and what it stands for. What I struggle with is the enforcement of the honor code. I'm not sure there is a great answer.
