I don't know. Tell me what the violation was? There are 100 possibilities here
For example - a recovering alcoholic could conceivably fall of the wagon for a weekend and not lose their temple recommend. But it's nearly inconceivable that a person could commit adultery and keep their recommend.
I actually think that if drinking was Sarks only problem - and he worked for the Church - he might get counseling rather than being fired.
So yes - I do see the difference.
