You really want to argue that Provo housing is a free market?
Because that's what's laughable.
What I suggested is that landlords should offer a reasonable compromise given this situation. You on the other hand are arguing that in a time of national crisis, landlord's shouldn't compromise at all.

Landlords have mortgages, sometimes huge mortgages, that they have taken out to provide that housing. Hence contracts.
