My main concern is that if they decided they had one too many employees, you
could possibly on the top of the list. Good communication with your manager might make sure that even though you do not work as many hours, and also do not get extra pay, it is because you both agreed to it and you are both happy with the arrangement.

Sitting around being upset about it or worrying that they are unhappy with you isn't helpful in the long run.

I give up a lot of potential upside on raises and bonuses to live the life I do, but I would never want to live the life I would have to in order to get me those financial rewards.
