I’ve had lots of deadlines in my career

but I’ve ALWAYS known the why behind them without asking. Tbh I’m trying to envision a conversation where my manager asks me to put in 10-12 hour days for the next however long and doesn’t voluntarily tell you why that’s needed?

I’m guessing this is company that asks you to work 40 hours per week but really expects 50+.
