That's why I never feel bad for leaving a company for greener pastures
I had a boss almost burst into tears when I gave notice and plead with me to stay and be loyal. I did and I wish I never did. Never again will I fall for that malarky.
Later, when I told him he owed me one, he said "It's just business" and refused. I told him "Oh, so loyalty only matters when it benefits you."
He had no answer.
Brad Wright is his name, but I refer to him as MUD!
So years later when I gave another company notice and the company expressed some anger, I said "It's just business" and moved on.
Always remember that a company will fire you at the drop of a hat. So never feel bad about leaving.
