Companies think long and hard about it. They think about the well being of the employees, they think about the well being of the employees that aren’t let go. They think about public perception of customers and future employees. They think about the company’s ability to survive and compete against competitors.

The overly sensitive and people with limited life experience act like employees are used by companies, but they are not.
