The cost to the church is still very much there. They continue to fund every

student's education whether they are LDS or not. The cost of an education like the one offered at BYU should be about $35,000 in just tuition every year. How is BYU able to function when even a non LDS student is paying only $10,000 a year in tuition? The LDS Church and its tithing funds. That's how.
