Well part of the Honor Code is that you attend your BYU ward regularly.

I had friends that got in trouble for going to farewells to often from bishops and had to attend there BYU ward to keep the endorsement. If you miss the entire semester the bishopric will notice. I'm part of a YSA bishopric right now and we have meetings about this all the time. I'm not in a BYU ward though so maybe there are some differences.
