And I don't disagree with any of that. This discussion was about what gives BYU
the right to expel LDS students who apostatize or non-LDS students who pursue anti activities. Is there a better way to prepare our kids for the world that will crush them if given the chance? Perhaps. But the fact that the LDS Church is bearing a large majority bulk of the cost to run Brigham Young University grants them the privilege of establishing the guidelines for who may or may not attend as students.
