I agree with this. Having worked at an ACC school, it is funny how they tried to
portray themselves as superior to the SEC based on having GA Tech, Duke, Virginia, UNC and Maryland (until they skipped to the Big-10, which was a slap in the face!) in the conference compared to Vanderbilt, Florida and then.....other institutions of higher learning. I don't know that it sells in the other parts of the country, but in the South, people still recognize the SEC as the preferable conference.
