My apologies if that didn't come through. I was just trying to explain why I reacted the way I did and why it bothers me to see that so much.
I do appreciate that you reached out and said that it was an overgeneralization and probably not helpful; that's a rare trait to recognize and admit.
Now it's my turn to do the same, probably unnecessary to keep hammering the point after you'd acknowledged it. At that point it was less directed at you and more at my concerns for society at large doing that, but I wasn't super clear about it
