Saying that BYU is better in every way is an overstatement. However,

what is frustrating is that the comparison never gets to be made because BYU is effectively ruled out before a real comparison can be made. You cannot compare two schools when one school is never under consideration. Utah is a fine school in many respects, but my department at BYU is much better than the one at the U, and it is not even close.
