But my memory is the LHN (and Colorado being in instead of Baylor) almost made the P16 a non-starter; which would have been a mistake IMO.
Let Texas have their LHN, as long as it exists, and own tier three home game rights. Let the rest of the P16 have the P16 network own their tier three rights. This gets you national distribution, a huge bump in tier 1 and 2 payouts, and 3 of the greatest brands in college football.
If A&M can't live with that, let them go and take CU then.
Anyway, I guess we'll never know, but however it went down, yewtah is the beneficiary and it will continue to shape the destiny of college football in the state of Utah.
