actively mock and insult the Church and/or the standards and beliefs of the religion. For example, I have many family and friends who are Ute fans. And the vast majority of them are active members.
Yet they seem to get uncomfortable when I ask them how fun it is to go to Utah games, when they are surrounded with those, who literally hate anything to do with the Jesus/Mormons/LDS Gospel/religious beliefs.
To me, any to some others, that blows our minds. In a world where BYU had no sports, yeah, we'd all cheer our respective teams and get real happy when there are LDS players on said teams. Think of it as the Bryce Harper or Steve Young effect.
But when a large segment of society uses the U of U as a tool to actively bash, fight, and insult the faith we ascribe to, then how do these people (ALUFs) reconcile that fact?
