Second, never doubt the patriarch. Whether something happens that is in your blessing is completely up to you. A promise was made and it will be kept if you are faithful and diligent in keeping the commandments.

Third, it is possible a patriarch makes a mistake...he, like all members, is human and makes mistakes. The bigger mistakes seems to be those who don't understand what was promised or don't live up to their potential.
