It's absolutely true. You probably wouldn't know it if you've never lived outside of Utah. Other than a two year stint for me I've spent my entire life away from that state, and no matter whether it was in Texas, California, Pennsylvania, or Colorado it's the same reaction everywhere... Mormon Country.
