There are a number of things that I think could or should be changed about BYU. Some of it seems ridiculous. You can't wear flip flops? No shorts at BYU-I? Stuff like shaving and caffeine drinks - which seem to have wiggled some now, I guess.
There are a LOT of things that I personally would take a MUCH closer look at if I were the guy in charge. But I'm not. That said - I sustain the prophets, seers, and revelators who ARE in charge and on the Board of Trustees - that while I don't understand why some of these rules exist - they at LEAST allow them, if not completely support them. And I suppose there is a reason for that from their perspective.
So while I personally don't understand some of the rules and feel OK asking questions about them - I sustain the brethren in charge and accept them until they do change.
