But you see why a sensible person would roll their eyes at your post, right?
If you simply replaced each of your references to 'BYU' with 'LDS' and then replaced your references to 'LDS' with 'Christian' it would read like a dime-a-dozen anti-Mormon rant by some evangelical on Reddit. You'd probably roll your eyes just like I did when I read yours.

Many "many" practices at odds with LDS doctrine? Besides the entire, actively engaged Board of Trustees coming exclusively from the leadership of the Church four members of the Twelve and First Presidency are former presidents of Church schools. Just like anywhere else in the Church God has chosen to involve fallible humans. You make it sound like some institutional norm. You can see why that might trigger an 'oh, brother,' right?

The thinly-veiled shot at a running back on the last team to beat Utah who "everyone else and their dogs" knew was a drug dealer but got a pass from every level of law enforcement in the state of Utah? Can you see why that might not seem credible?

I'll skip the point by point rebuttal but when you top it off with this contradiction: "When I cheer for Utah, I do so knowing that their actions on the field don't reflect negatively or positively on my faith, but I do take great pride in knowing that men like Kyle, and Mr. Covey are representing their faith very well without having to be forced by their school to do so." So where exactly are Kyle & Covey representing their faith so well? Neither BYU nor the Church force anyone to do anything. While there are codes of conduct those codes are both voluntary and entirely determined by the highest leadership of the Church.
