Verbal commitment is just the beginning. Other schools don’t just roll over - especially on a BYU recruit.
There are so many ways to plant seeds of doubt in the mind of an 18 yo kid who is enjoying every moment of the attention.
BYU has glaring weaknesses that don’t need to be reiterated. You’d better believe every other school is pouncing in every one of them.
That’s why these kids need constant attention. They’re getting it from the schools with actual recruiting resources.
