I am not sure about being well liked or not, but I believe she transferred
from Mountain Ridge back to Herriman this year. Not sure why. According to UHSAA rules, she would not be allowed to play varsity in a normally sanctioned sport due to that transfer.
She is a smart girl, I heard she scored a 36 on her ACTs. She and her Dad should let this go and focus on what she can do with her education at the next level. If she can make a college socccer team as well, good on her.
Article is misleading as well. She was not the only girl in the state to play tackle football that year. At least one other girl played in the Herriman Ute Football league that same year. i am sure other girls played in other HS areas.

I remember when girls soccer wasn't sanctioned by the UHSAA. Then they followed the rules, and built ground up.
