And yet, that's precisely what Title IX did: it forced universities to sanction
sports for women. And what happened? Interest exploded. I understand your point, but as the dad of three girls, two of whom would play football if given the chance, I have zero patience or sympathy for the argument that we should just let interest grow organically. There are things you can do to accelerate social change, and while it may at first feel like it's being forced on us, we quickly adapt to the change.

I remember when girls soccer wasn't sanctioned by the UHSAA. Then they followed the rules, and built ground up.
