That is exactly correct
The nice thing here is if you don’t agree with the BYU HC you can go to pretty much any other university in the world and not worry about those consequences… and BYU people are expected to treat you with respect no matter what you believe (many suck at this but people should be treated with kindness even if you disagree with them)
But there is nowhere to run if you made some decisions while in HS which only recently have become unacceptable… no room to grow and learn, no room for inclusion, no room for diversity, you are canceled — consequence delivered.
This is so true in most universities these days, academics are some of the most hypocritical short sighted self promoting people out there
