My wife is a respiratory therapist working in the ICU. More than 90% of all
patients currently in the ICU for Covid are unvaccinated. Yes you can still get covid even if you are vaccinated, but your risk of serious issues goes way down. One of the largest demographics of people currently in the ICU is 18-35 years old unvaccinated, no preexisting conditions. I wish this message could be shouted from the housetops.
Selfishly I wish people would get vaccinated so that I could see my wife again. She works nights and hospitals don't have the staff to care for all the patients and so she's had to pick up dozens of extra shifts (as all health care workers have) over the last few months just to try and keep these people alive.

Not in Idaho, but we had 3 patients under 28 die in our hospital over the weekend. A 4th who was thirty died at home.
