Obesity was and is the number one indicator of hospitalization and death
for COVID right now.
Getting the vaccine reduces that risk but it's still even among the vaccinated one of the biggest risk factors. This especially holds true for those that hit other metrics like age, diabetes, ect.
At one point it was >70% for overweight patients and hospitalization.
Not everyone can change if they have things like age, diabetes, ect. But you can change your health lifestyle. Unfortuantly this was made more about political agendas and we missed a huge opportunity.

Not in Idaho, but we had 3 patients under 28 die in our hospital over the weekend. A 4th who was thirty died at home.
