When was the last time hospitals ran out of space because hundreds of DKA
cases filled the hospital?
When was the last time people couldn’t get care because of all them smokers taking up the vents?
Come on. It’s crisis situations which require rationing of care. Vax status is no worse a rationing mechanism than anything else currently in use. Just ask the colon cancer patient who has to wait 3+ more weeks to get their tumor removed.
And yeah, part of me thinks that if society is subsidizing your health care then society can place some conditions on it. And if you choose to ride your chopper down a canyon at night, with no helmet, then you forfeit some of the blessings that come with being smart.
