I guess I'm not as familiar with SAT scores.

But high ACT scores are definitely the norm. I knew several in my class that had a 36 on the ACT. Either way the point it a BYU engineering degree isn't "underachieving".

I had a good friend that spent her first two years of undergrad at MIT, and then transferred to BYU. She is one of the smartest people I have ever met. She thought BYU compared well overall.
