That depends. BYU's IS is highly technical compared to other schools. Most of those I know who have gone through

the program are software engineers. Many landed jobs with the likes of Amazon and Microsoft, as well as various software consulting firms, not to mention the local software startup scene.
Because the major is so comptitive st BYU, it attracts much of the best talent vs the engineering school.
