When you get an academic scholarship, it is not promised for four years. Nearly always it is year to year. Even when it is a 4 year schollie, it is dependent on consistent academic performance. If you don't perform as well in the classroom as you hoped, you lose the schollie.

That's just the way scholarships work.

Now, what I DO worry about is the way BYU bball communicates the message because it seems like we're ticking off a lot of people, and that won't help with future recruiting.
