BYU expected more out of a freshman? I really doubt that.

He was never supposed to be on scholarship in the first place so the 1-year gift was great, and it doesn't really explain why he's leaving if he was originally choosing BYU without it anyway... But don't make it look like they're not hanging onto him because of his play as a freshman. Freshmen performances are something this board really has a problem with.

Doesn't have to be. It is that way for all NCAA sports. Unless the school offers says 4-years. Most are 1 year.
