Frankly this was my take, too
Steven was solid, if not a star, but sheesh, he was a frosh. You don't run off frosh because they're not D1 stars after year 1, unless you're Duke, which we're not (and this step won't get us there, either). Steven showed talent in how solid he was 90% of the time. It's true Tj had a green light Steven didn't seem to have, and so Steven played tentative. Some may even remember there was some friction between Beo and Haws early in the year. TJ became alpha dog, but I'm convinced Beo is better than our next option. I didn't know he and Rylan played each other but it doesn't surprise me Beo came out on top.

It just pains me when a clearly talented player doesn't reach his potential. We need these kids, and frankly if all our eggs are in the Lone Peak basket it could be a long couple years. We need guys who think team first, and to me Beo's play screamed that.
