He should still be on the roster even if he's not on scholarship. I don't have

an issue with not renewing the scholarship since he was originally a walk on and it was a one year deal. But if he had to leave the team and lost his roster spot there better be a good reason for it. Good kid, hard worker, probably not quite good enough to be on scholarship, but definitely good enough to be on the team.
