hard to complain that you were promised a pref. walk-on spot and got a
scholarship year 1 before ever preforming on a college court. Was Beo's performance this year that which would warrant a scholarship? probably not. 38% from the floor, 29% from 3, 43% from FT. for a guard that is a pretty rough line.

He seems like a good kid and my guess is that he was offered his original walk-on spot that he was originally promised. I'm betting that after having that scholarship though that it's hard to go back whereas if he never has it he probably wouldn't have been as upset not to have it for his Soph. year either.

Some are acting as though we are losing a high end player when in reality he is a walk on, same with Guinn.

I think the bigger issue is that every year this coaching staff has multiple situations like this and it creates bad feelings and bad stability through the program.

I'm sure we all wish Beo well but if we can find a JC guard who can defend that will be much more valuable and I'm sure the offensive numbers from Beo won't be hard to replace and more than likely with more efficient numbers.
