program (significantly above average) for most of the last decade. Is this not competing? Are you expecting Alabama? Or, do you have your panties in a bunch because BYU has a losing record in the rivalry game? What exactly are you expecting?

Yeah--last year was terrible...but that's not because of a decline in resources.

I think that the BoT knows exactly what they want BYU and BYU football to be. The fans are the ones with the problem. If the fans expect more, then pony up.
