There is often too quick of a cascade of unnecessary interventions at hospitals that can bring their own risks. We had ours at hospitals because our later pregnancies were not "low risk" ones, but we considered a birth center.

we had a scare on one of ours. not sure a birthing center would have given us similar positive outcome. Too risky IMO
